Reflectors

There are a lot of reflectors installed in a car or truck, especially for the larger ones. Along the bumpers of your car or around its grille is a reflector often termed as front reflector. There are also reflectors installed on the tail end of your car near the taillights and such are called rear reflectors. The one you’ll find in this particular page of this site are side reflectors, usually located on the fenders, on the outer edges of a wrap-around bumper, or on any part of a vehicle’s side body panel. Side reflectors are particularly important for large vehicles like medium duty to heavy duty trucks, large vans and buses. Since the side of a vehicle is often not equipped with any lighting equipment, the side reflectors do the job of making the vehicle’s side visible. Most long vehicles are required to be equipped with at least two to three side reflectors on each side of the vehicle.
