Vehicle lights are installed on your car or truck for safety purposes. Headlights make the road ahead of you clearly visible especially during the night. Fog lights serves as support for extremely low visibility conditions. At the rear end of your car are the taillights, which aim to make your car visible while backup lights would warn people behind your car that you are moving backwards. Still, some other vehicle lights serve dual functions. One example of this is the corner light. Corner lights, which are also called side marker lights, are vehicle lights placed in the front corners of a vehicle. It is usually installed beside the headlights, on the side of the fender or quarter panel, or integrated on a wrap around bumper. There are many kinds of corner lights made from different materials with various designs. Most corner lights are interfaced with the vehicle’s turn signals to warn the vehicles in front of your car that you are cornering. At the position where it is placed, however, some people think that the corner lights are unnecessary because you won’t have to warn the vehicles in front of you that you are cornering. But if you give priority importance to your safety and the safety of everyone around you, it is always a good idea to install corner lights. Some corner lights are plain running lights while others are merely reflectors. This type of corner lights would serve no particular safety function but can make your car look more elegant and stylish. They are more of auto accessories rather than important equipments. Nonetheless, installing them on your vehicle can give it a more vibrant look.
