Shipping & Returns
Ground Shipping
UPS Ground shipping takes approximately 5-7 business days to receive. UPS Ground shipping is available to the 48 Continental United States only. Alaska, Hawaii, and APO orders cannot be shipped ground.
Overnight and 2-Day Shipping
Overnight and 2-day shipping is available through Airborne/DHL only. All airfreight carriers reserve the right to extend delivery time by 24 hours to residential deliveries. This is beyond our control and airfreight charges will NOT be refunded for this reason. You can view schedules and transit times for your delivery zip code by visiting the Airborne web-site. All orders must be received by 4PM EST.
APO, FPO, PO Box Shipping
APO and FPO orders are shipped using US Express Mail or US Priority Mail only. Normal delivery time for US Express Mail is 7-10 business days from the date of order. Expected delivery time for US Priority Mail is 10-24 business days from the date of order. Shipping and handling for APO/FPO orders is charged on a separate invoice after the weight and dimensions are calculated. All APO/FPO orders get shipped UPS Ground (3-4 business days) to our NJ location first for processing. There is a $12.95 handling fee on all APO/FPO orders to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition. Sorry, at the present time we do not ship to PO Box addresses in the Continental 48 States. All orders being shipped to a PO Box address not located in the 48 Continental States are shipped exactly as an APO/FPO order.
Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam and US Virgin Islands Shipping
All orders not being shipped to the Continental 48 United States are shipped using Airborne/DHL only. Expected delivery time is 7-8 business days from the date of order. Canada and All International Shipping
All orders being shipped internationally are shipped using Airborne/DHL only. Expected delivery time is 7-10 business days from the date of order, we are not responsible for delays in customs. All international orders are shipped UPS Ground (3-4 business days) to our NJ location first for processing. Shipping and handling for these orders are charged on a separate invoice after the weight and dimensions are calculated. There is a $12.95 handling fee on all international orders to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition.
Return Procedure
To return a core or part(s) please Click Here. We need your order number, name, email address and the part number you wish to return along with a detailed explanation of why you need to return it. If you do not have your order number, please indicate when your order was purchased and the full name ordered with. All RA numbers are e-mailed in 2-3 business days with a return shipping address and complete shipping instructions. No returns will be accepted without an RA number. If the RA number is not written on the outside of the shipping box, it will be returned to you. All returns must be postage paid; return shipping charges are not refundable. All returns must be packaged properly; we are not responsible for damaged returns that occur as a result of improper packing.
Return Policy
Within 21 business days of placing your order from Car Gear you may return any core or wrong part(s). No returns will be accepted after 21 business days. All parts must be in their original condition, and cannot be disassembled or damaged by incorrect installation. We are not responsible for installation errors. We are not responsible for any labor expenses, towing expenses, or rental car expenses that occur as the result of the installation of any wrong or defective parts.
Please Note: Service manuals, CD ROMs, Special-order Products, and Auto Body Parts are not returnable for any reason. Electrical parts are not returnable if plugged in or unsealed for any reason.
All returns are subject to a non-refundable 20% restocking fee. A 20% restocking fee is charged on all returns that are not the direct result of our error.
Refunds
Refunds for returns or cores normally take 30 days to process and credit from the date we receive your return at the warehouse. Once the core or part is received we forward it to the manufacturer for approval. The manufacturer will then approve your return. Once the return has been approved and processed, the refund will be credited to the credit card you used to buy the merchandise. You will receive "credit approved" e-mail the day you are credited. Please be aware that your bank may take 4-7 business days to post the credit to your account or credit card. If after 30 days, you have still not received a credit please e-mail the returns department shipping@cargear.com, for the fastest response.
Risk Of Loss:
All items purchased from our website are made pursuant to our shipping terms, which are F.O.B. shipping point. This means that that risk of loss and title for such items pass to you at the shipping point which is when the carrier accepts the goods for transport.
Our Terms and Conditions:
You may return products within 21 business days of shipment for a refund or replacement. All returns information is located above.
On orders shipped Overnight or 2Day, all shipping carriers reserve the right to extend delivery time by 24 hours to residential deliveries. This is beyond our control and air-shipping charges will NOT be refunded for this reason. Upon receiving your order, inspect all packages thoroughly for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts. Our warehouses put forth every effort to prevent shipping damage however, it does occur occasionally. If you receive a damaged part, do NOT accept the package, have the shipper immediately return to sender. If the shipper has left a damaged package in your absence, immediately contact the shipper and have the package returned to sender. We are not responsible for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts after 21 business days, regardless of the party at fault. We must be contacted immediately if any of the above occurs. We are also not responsible for lost or stolen packages and all claims for such must be processed through the shipping company.
Cancellation Policy:
All orders are electronically processed and forwarded to the warehouse immediately after the order is confirmed therefore, the window of opportunity to cancel an order is limited. All orders must be canceled BEFORE you receive the Invoice - Payment accepted e-mail. No orders can be canceled after payment has been confirmed, as the order will be immediately processed for shipment. All orders placed from Friday after 5PM PST - Monday 9AM PST cannot be canceled, as they are processed over the weekend for shipment.
