Terms & Conditions


Processing Time:
Our goal is to ship all in-stock items within 24 to 48 hours after your order is placed. Orders received before 3:00 p.m. PST (Pacific Standard Time) between Monday and Friday are processed the same day or by the end of the next business day. Orders received on Saturday and Sunday will be processed by the following business day. We try our best to ensure that we always have inventory available on all our items, but if for any reason any item(s) ordered are not in stock, you will be notified by the following business day.

Ground Shipping
FedEx Ground shipping is available to the lower 48 Continental United States only. Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, APO, FPO, and PO Box orders cannot be shipped ground. Fed Ex ground shipping takes approximately 5-7 business days to receive.

Overnight, 2nd, and 3rd Day Shipping
Overnight, 2nd, and 3rd day shipping is available through FedEx only. All orders must be received by 3:00 pm PST (Pacific Standard Time), and will be shipped accordingly to our processing time. FedEx reserves the right to extend delivery time by 24 hours to residential deliveries. This is beyond our control therefore freight charges will NOT be refunded for this reason. You can view schedules and transit times for your delivery zip code by visiting FedEx's website at www.fedex.com.

APO, FPO, PO Box Shipping
APO, FPO and PO Box orders are shipped using US Express Mail or US Priority Mail only. Normal delivery time for US Express Mail is 7-10 business days. Expected delivery time for US Priority Mail is 10-24 business days. There is a $12.95 handling fee on all APO, FPO, and PO Box orders.

Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam, and US Virgin Islands Shipping Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam, and US Virgin Island orders are shipped FedEx International and usually take 8-10 business days to receive. We are not responsible for delays in customs. There is a $12.95 handling fee on all orders shipped to these locations.

Return Procedure
We'll gladly accept returns for most Cargear.com products within 21 days after merchandise is shipped. To ensure a timely refund, please contact our customer service department at (888) 968-3226 so that we may issue a RGA (Returned Goods Authorization) number. All RGA numbers are e-mailed within 2-3 business days with a return shipping address and complete shipping instructions. Please return the item(s) immediately upon deciding that you do not want the product(s), and include your RGA number, order number, name, email address and the part number(s) you wish to return along with a detailed explanation of why items are being returned. If you do not have your order number, please indicate the date when your order was purchased and the full name of the person who placed the order. No returns will be accepted without an RGA number. If the RGA number is not written on the outside of the shipping box, it will be returned to you. All returns should be made using FedEx or insured mail since it is traceable. Return shipping charges are not refundable. All returns must be packaged properly. We are not responsible for damaged returns that occur as a result of improper packing. All returns are subject to a non-refundable 20% restocking fee.

Return Policy
For a refund, returns must be made within 21 days from the date merchandise was shipped (not including any shipping charges). After 21 days, ALL SALES ARE FINAL and NO returns will be accepted at this time. All parts must be in their original condition, and cannot be disassembled or damaged by incorrect installation. We are not responsible for installation errors, any labor expenses, towing expenses, or rental car expenses that occur as the result of the installation of any wrong or defective parts.
Please Note: Electrical parts are not returnable if plugged in or unsealed for any reason.

Refunds
Refunds for ALL returns normally take 30 days to process and credit from the date we receive your merchandise at the warehouse. Once returned merchandise is received, we forward it to the manufacturer for approval. If the return has been approved and processed, the refund will be credited to the credit card used on that order. You will receive an e-mail that day stating the credit amount to your card. Please be aware that your bank may take 4-7 business days to post the credit to your account. If after 30 days, you have still not received a credit, please e-mail the returns department at support@cargear.com or call toll free (888) 968-3226.

Other Terms and Conditions:
Upon receiving your order, inspect all packages thoroughly for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts. Our warehouses put forth every effort to prevent shipping damage, however, it does occur occasionally. If you receive a damaged part, do NOT accept the package and have the shipper immediately return to sender. If the shipper has left a damaged package in your absence, immediately contact the shipper and have the package returned to sender. We are not responsible for missing, damaged, or incorrect parts after 21 days from the date merchandise was shipped regardless of the party at fault. We must be contacted immediately if any of the above occurs. We are also not responsible for lost or stolen packages and all claims for such must be processed through the shipping company.

Cancellation Policy:
All orders are electronically processed and forwarded to the warehouse immediately after the order is confirmed. The window of opportunity to cancel an order is limited. All orders must be canceled BEFORE credit card payment authorization has been approved. No orders can be canceled after payment has been confirmed, as the order will be immediately processed for shipment.
